10年前慎平的父母親過世之後，就被小舟家收養，因此跟潮與澪這對姊妹成了一家人。國中畢業之後就到東京就學，2年後他為了參加潮的葬禮再度回到故鄉。然而他在渡輪上就做了一個奇怪的夢，兒時玩伴‧窓在葬禮上又向他透漏了一件不尋常的事，讓他開始懷疑潮的死因並不單純。後來慎平得知當地曾經流傳「影子病」，看到自己影子的人都會死……
